Finlease at Diesel Dirt & Turf 2025: Building Connections, One Pair of Socks at a Time

The Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo is always one of the highlights of our year and 2025 was no exception.

Held at Sydney Dragway, DDT brings together the biggest and the best in civil construction, and once again, Finlease was proud to be in the thick of it.

This year marked another milestone in our long-standing relationship with the expo. We’ve been part of DDT for many years now, and each time we show up, we aim to lift the bar. What started with a modest stand years ago has now evolved into a dynamic, welcoming space where connections are made, conversations are had, and socks, yes, socks, are handed out by the thousands.

And not just any socks. We’re talking about our Famous Finlease bamboo socks. They’ve become something of a collector’s item at DDT. In 2025, we handed out over 3,000 pairs to attendees. They’re soft, breathable, and always a crowd-pleaser just like the Finlease experience.

But for us, DDT is about more than giveaways. It’s about people. We love shaking hands, hearing stories, and meeting the faces behind the machines. The civil construction industry is full of hard-working, salt-of-the-earth people, and we consider it a privilege to connect with them in person year after year.

This year, we were thrilled to have a huge group of our equipment finance brokers on the ground. Having the team together in one place helps us have more meaningful conversations and support even more businesses looking for trusted finance solutions. There’s something powerful about getting out from behind the desk and truly being where our clients are.

We also brought a bit of fun to the stand with a WIN a remote-control Volvo excavator competition from Little Big Rigs. It added a playful touch to the event, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love winning something.
